Activated Carbon Pods for Water Distillers (Full Year Supply)

Crafted from coconut shells, these Activated Carbon Pods safely remove any potential residual odor or taste, and also help eliminate any remaining VOC gases. Designed for use with H2oLabs models 100, 100E, 100SS, 100SSE, 300, 300E, 300SS, 300SSE, 300SSF, and other water distillers featuring nozzle-type activated carbon filter housings. (Please note that these pods do not fit the H2oLabs Model 200.)

Compared to regular sachets, the Activated Carbon Pods eliminate VOCs more effectively and last longer. They are also easier to install – simply drop the pod into the nozzle, without any need for folding or other complex steps.

To prepare the Activated Carbon Pod for first-time use, soak it in a cup of distilled water until it is fully saturated. It is recommended to use distilled water to prevent potential contamination from regular water. After soaking, dip the pod repeatedly into the distilled water several times to remove any carbon dust. (Please note that any activated carbon dust is harmless charcoal made from coconut shells.)

Next, insert the Activated Carbon Pod into the nozzle housing, making sure to leave a little space at the bottom to avoid blocking the water outlet. The pod helps to reduce any discernible taste or residual VOC gases.

Replace each Activated Carbon Pod every 2 months or after 60 gallons of water have been produced, whichever occurs first. Additionally, replace the pod if you notice any perceptible taste or odor. When not in use for more than 24 hours, store the pod in a clean, dry place.

The Activated Carbon Pods are an improved, longer-lasting solution for your water distiller, replacing obsolete activated carbon filters, sachets, and other types of nozzle filters. A six-pack of these pods provides a year's worth of replacement, and they last TWICE as long while containing THREE TIMES the amount of activated carbon compared to most other filters and sachets for one-gallon water distillers.

These pods improve taste and eliminate VOCs more effectively than regular sachets or other filters.
